Introduction: Cognitive functions and mood (anxiety and depression) are often impaired in diabetes mellitus (DM). Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor (DPP-4) has been shown to exert beneficial effects on insulin sensitivity and glycoregulation in T2DM patients.
